Privacy Policy
TRJ Technology, LLC (“TRJ Technology,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates TRJTech.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit our website or contact us through it.
Last updated 9 September 2026
TRJ Technology, LLC is a Missouri limited liability company based in St. Charles, Missouri, United States. Questions about this policy may be sent to tim@trjtech.com.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit our contact form, we collect your email address, your message, and any optional information you provide, such as your name, company, team size, and business needs. Only your email address and message are required.
We also receive any information you include when you contact us directly by email. Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information.
Information needed to operate and protect the website
Our hosting and security providers process technical information needed to deliver the website, maintain its availability, and prevent spam or abuse. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, request details, and access times.
Our contact form uses your IP address and basic browser information to help detect automated submissions. To limit repeated submissions, we retain a temporary, protected identifier derived from your IP address for up to one hour. This identifier is kept separately from your message. Hosting and security providers may separately process or retain IP addresses in operational logs.
Optional analytics and session recordings
If you accept analytics through our consent banner, our analytics providers collect information about how you use the website, including:
- Pages you visit and how long you spend on them.
- The website or search that referred you.
- Your approximate location, browser, and device type.
- Clicks, taps, scrolling, and pointer movements.
- Identifiers stored in cookies or similar browser storage.
These services may create session recordings and visual summaries of page interactions to help us identify confusing content and improve the website. Text entered into contact form fields is masked in session recordings.
Optional analytics and session recording services do not load unless you accept them.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate about our services.
- Understand your request and maintain related business correspondence.
- Operate, maintain, and secure the website.
- Detect and prevent spam, fraud, and misuse.
- Understand website usage and improve content and usability, where you have consented.
- Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Submitting a contact form does not subscribe you to a mailing list. We do not sell or rent your contact details to other businesses for their marketing.
3. Cookies, Browser Storage, and Your Choices
We use browser storage to remember your privacy preferences. If you accept optional analytics, our analytics providers may also use cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and interactions.
You can accept or decline optional analytics through the consent banner. Declining does not prevent you from browsing the website or submitting an inquiry. Essential hosting and security processing continues regardless of your analytics choice.
To change a previous choice, clear the cookies and site data for TRJTech.com in your browser settings, reload the website, and select your preference again. Your choice applies to the browser and device where you make it.
We treat a recognized Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal as a choice to decline optional analytics and session recording.
Withdrawing consent stops future optional collection once the change takes effect. It does not automatically delete information already collected. You may contact us about that information as described below.
4. How We Disclose Information
Website and communication providers
We use third parties to provide website hosting, form processing, email delivery and storage, security, and spam prevention. They receive or process information needed to perform those functions. Contact form submissions are delivered to our business email inbox through these providers.
Analytics providers
With your consent, we disclose website usage and interaction information to analytics providers. Some providers process information on our behalf; others also use it for their own purposes under their privacy policies.
Our session analytics provider, Microsoft, collects or receives personal information through the website to provide its services, including Microsoft Advertising. Microsoft may also use this information to improve its products and services and personalize advertising. Details are available in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
You can prevent optional analytics collection through the choices described in Section 3.
Legal and protective disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business transactions
If we participate in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets, relevant information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable confidentiality and data protection requirements.
At your direction
We may disclose information when you ask us to or otherwise authorize the disclosure.
5. How Long We Keep Information
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, using the following periods and criteria:
- Contact correspondence: While the conversation is active and for up to 24 months afterward for business records.
- Website analytics: Event and user data for up to 14 months.
- Session recordings: Generally 30 days. Recordings specifically saved for further review may be retained for up to nine months.
- Interaction summaries and heatmaps: Up to nine months.
- Temporary submission-limit records: Up to one hour.
- Privacy preferences: Until you clear the relevant browser storage or the stored preference is otherwise removed.
- Hosting and security logs: Under our providers’ applicable retention schedules, based on operational, security, and legal needs.
Information that providers use independently may be subject to the retention periods in their own privacy policies.
We may retain relevant information longer when required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve disputes or protect legal rights. Deletion requests are subject to these limitations.
6. Information Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
No website, email system, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please limit the information you send to what is necessary for your inquiry.
7. International Processing
We are based in the United States, and our website hosting and email processing take place in the United States. Our providers may also process information in other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
Declining analytics does not prevent international processing needed to deliver the website, provide security, or handle an inquiry.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we must use a permitted transfer mechanism. You may contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your information.
8. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Consent for optional analytics and session recordings.
- Legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, maintaining business records, and operating and protecting the website, subject to your rights.
- Contractual necessity when processing is needed to take steps you request before entering a contract or to perform a contract with you.
- Legal obligations when processing is required by law.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information; restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain disclosures or uses.
You may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To make a request, email tim@trjtech.com, preferably with “Privacy” in the subject line. We may need information to verify your identity or authority to act for someone else.
We aim to respond within 30 days and will meet applicable legal deadlines. If an extension or exception applies, we will explain it as required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Where available, you may appeal a decision by replying to our response and requesting a review. You may also complain to the relevant privacy regulator, including the supervisory authority in your European Economic Area country or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
For information held by a provider acting independently, you may also need to use that provider’s privacy request process. Contact us if you need help identifying the appropriate provider.
10. Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date.
For material changes, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law.
